Case Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee a specific caseload while adhering to service level agreements and turnaround expectations

• Perform daily administrative duties, which include prompt replies to emails and phone calls

• Evaluate claims considering contractual, medical, and vocational challenges

• Cultivate relationships with plan sponsors, plan members, treatment providers, and internal colleagues

• Propel cases towards successful return-to-work outcomes or job resolutions

• Compose letters that convey essential benefit-related information through analytical reasoning

• Engage with plan members, demonstrating resilience, emotional intelligence, and compassion

• Communicate complex claims-related decisions effectively

⛳️ Requirements

• Bilingual proficiency in English and French is an advantage; mandatory for successful applicants in Québec assisting clients from other provinces

• A college or university degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent work experience is beneficial

• Capacity to make impactful decisions promptly under pressure

• Familiarity with disability management and/or group benefits is advantageous

• A background in a health-related discipline is preferred

• Proficient and comfortable in managing incoming and outgoing calls

• Exceptional organizational and prioritization abilities

• Strong resilience, emotional intelligence, compassion, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving capabilities
