Care Management Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Engage with healthcare providers and other stakeholders to facilitate member care and treatment requirements.

• Provide outstanding customer service in a dynamic environment.

• Recognize opportunities for referrals related to additional products, services, and programs.

• Operate autonomously while collaborating with a remote team.

• Assist members and providers by organizing care, addressing treatment-related inquiries, and linking members to supplementary programs and services.

⛳️ Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.

• Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.

• Proficient computer skills, including typing competency.

• Capability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.

• Must reside within 45 minutes of 7034 Alamo Down’s Pkwy, San Antonio, TX.

• Must work in the state and city of current residence.

• Must possess or be able to secure a direct/hardwired internet connection to a modem/router within 7 feet of the computer.

• Minimum internet speed of 25 Mbps for downloads and 3 Mbps for uploads.

• WiFi and satellite internet connections are not acceptable.

• A quiet, secure, and private home workspace that complies with CVS Health and HIPAA standards.

• Capability to provide personal workspace furniture.

• Comfortable with setting up and utilizing multiple monitors and navigating various applications.

• Proficient in communicating via email, calendar invites, Teams messaging, and virtual meetings.

• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications or equivalent Google Workspace applications.

• Ability to access secure systems such as VPN and EHR portals.

• Knowledge of computer security practices, including locking screens, managing strong passwords, and identifying suspicious emails or links.

• Ability to independently troubleshoot common technical issues and reach out to IT as necessary.

• Willingness to acquire new skills as the workplace evolves.

• Preferred: At least 1 year of customer service experience in a healthcare or medical environment.
