This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Drive sales within the designated territory.
• Interact with customers both in-person and through virtual platforms.
• Create and execute business and territory call strategies.
• Identify and implement strategies for live and virtual customer engagement.
• Establish rapport and build customer relationships in both live and virtual settings.
• Utilize digital tools to sustain customer engagement.
• Leverage internal reports and analytics to recognize, develop, and execute strategic business opportunities.
• Educate providers on the value propositions of unbranded and branded products using compliant knowledge of products and disease states.
• Utilize approved clinically oriented disease-state information and patient resources.
• Collaborate in compliance with organizational standards to address customer inquiries and promote Pfizer's objectives.
• Timely and compliant completion of administrative responsibilities.
• Bachelor's Degree; alternatively, an associate's degree with over 6 years of experience, or a high school diploma (or equivalent) with over 8 years of relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in professional sales or promotional activities, small business ownership or entrepreneurial ventures, marketing, customer service, and/or account management, relevant healthcare/scientific roles, education, or full-time military service.
• Must reside within 25 miles of the territory's border.
• Possession of a valid U.S. driver's license and a driving record that meets company standards.
• Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the last 7 years disqualifies candidates from consideration.
• Preferred: 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales, and/or medical-related marketing.
• Proven track record of success in sales or marketing.
• Strong skills in territory management.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Demonstrated teamwork, leadership skills, and accountability.
• Familiarity with applicable disease states, therapeutic areas, and products.
• Knowledge of customers and markets within the assigned territory.
• Must reside within the defined territory boundaries.
• Candidates must have authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer.
• U.S. work visa sponsorship is not currently available and will not be available in the future.
• Permanent work authorization in the United States is required.
