This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Achieve sales targets, operate independently, and act as the primary point of accountability for the effective launch within your designated territory.
• Create territory-specific account strategies that identify, analyze, and prioritize opportunities to fulfill customer needs by coordinating the efforts of a local integrated field team that includes medical, payer, and patient navigation/support colleagues.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for customers by providing clinically relevant disease and product information while emphasizing the creation of demand for the product launch.
• Share approved resources with healthcare providers for the benefit of HCM patients, including marketing materials, payer information, formulary coverage, patient support services, and educational programs.
• A Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in biotech/pharma sales is required.
• Previous experience as a representative with complete ownership of the territory is strongly preferred.
• Experience in cardiology, rare diseases, or specialized products is preferred.
• Previous experience in launching specialty products is preferred.
• Familiarity with patient service hubs and specialty pharmacy distribution is preferred.
• Knowledge of key opinion leaders (KOLs) and major accounts within the assigned territory is preferred.
• Proficiency in assessing territory market trends and strategic planning that drives results and surpasses sales objectives is essential.
• Experience in selling to complex accounts, identifying influential stakeholders, and addressing patient needs is required.
• Clinical insight with a strong commitment to understanding and advocating for the needs of customers and their patients is required.
• Compliance with credentialing requirements to access academic institutions, medical facilities, and organizations within the assigned territory is necessary.
• Willingness and capability for overnight travel ranging from 25% to 75% based on business needs and geography is required.
• Ability to maintain a satisfactory driving record and possess a valid driver's license to operate a company vehicle.
