Cardiac Device Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct analysis and interrogation of pacemakers, ICDs, and implantable loop recorders in cardiology practices.

• Assist in the telemonitoring program by evaluating data and managing the software application.

• Exhibit comprehensive knowledge and understanding of pacemaker technology.

• Analyze and reprogram pacemakers utilizing various software programs.

• Execute independent quarterly transtelephonic checks on pacemakers.

• Oversee all data management through the software application.

• Reprogram devices as per physicians' orders.

• Schedule follow-up appointments for patients with pacemakers and ICDs.

• Provide education to families and patients regarding pacemaker and ICD care.

• Perform EKGs when necessary.

• Carry out other assigned or required tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of an associate degree.

• One or more years of relevant experience and training.

• At least 1 year of experience as a Senior Monitor Technician.

• Preferred: 1 year of experience in the electrophysiology sector.

• BLS certification required.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of pacemaker technology.

• Capability to analyze and reprogram pacemakers.

• Ability to perform quarterly transtelephonic pacemaker checks.

• Proficiency in using and maintaining telemonitoring software applications.

• Competence in performing EKGs.
