This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Lead major pursuits as the primary driver of the consultative sales process, offering strategic insights, best practices in business development, and sales leadership to formulate winning strategies that outperform the competition.
• Oversee discovery, pre-positioning, differentiation, and delivery strategies for significant transformative programs with both current and prospective clients, as well as internal partners.
• Evaluate competitive landscapes, utilizing insights gained from recent successes and failures to enhance strategic approaches.
• Foster a collaborative environment by mobilizing multidisciplinary teams from across the region and the globe to achieve client-focused, value-driven outcomes.
• Guarantee collaboration among technical, marketing, and bidding teams to implement best practices in proposal development.
• Advocate for the entire sales process lifecycle, ensuring quality assurance and strict adherence to Go/No-Go criteria.
• Work alongside marketing to implement strategic campaigns that align with key opportunities.
• Ensure all contracts comply with commercial, financial, legal, and governance standards.
• Promote accountability in achieving sales metrics and securing high capture rates.
• Align AECOM’s initiatives with client objectives, prioritizing sustainability, resilience, and innovative solutions.
• Assist in developing and maintaining a diverse pipeline of qualified opportunities, ensuring consistency with business strategies and goals.
• Establish trust with client decision-makers and internal stakeholders, including Client Account Managers (CAMs), Marketing, Bidding, RBLLs, and the Executive Board.
• Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of experience, including a role at the Director/Vice President level.
• Minimum of 4 years of leadership experience in business development strategy and team management.
• Demonstrated capability to achieve sales metrics and craft compelling value propositions.
• Proven track record in securing major pursuits and guiding multidisciplinary teams.
• High-energy, outgoing, and self-driven, with expertise in consultative sales.
• Relevant industry experience, particularly in a global matrix organization, is highly preferred.
• Sector experience in key growth markets (aviation, defense, transit, and high tech/data centers) is highly advantageous.
