This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Lead major pursuits as the forefront of the consultative sales process, contributing to strategy, best practices in business development, and sales leadership to formulate winning strategies that outpace the competition.
• Guide discovery, pre-positioning, differentiation, and delivery strategies for significant transformative programs with both current and prospective clients, as well as internal partners.
• Evaluate competitive landscapes, utilizing insights from recent successes and failures to enhance strategies.
• Foster a collaborative environment by leveraging multidisciplinary teams from across the region and worldwide to achieve value-driven, client-centric results.
• Ensure collaboration between technical, marketing, and bidding personnel for optimal proposal practices.
• Advocate for the entire sales process lifecycle, guaranteeing quality assurance and adherence to Go/No-Go protocols.
• Collaborate with marketing to implement strategic campaigns that align with key opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with commercial, financial, legal, and governance aspects of contracts.
• Promote accountability for achieving sales metrics and high capture rates.
• Align AECOM’s initiatives with client priorities, emphasizing sustainability, resilience, and innovative solutions.
• Assist in building and maintaining a diverse pipeline of qualified opportunities, ensuring consistency with business strategy and objectives.
• Establish trust with client decision-makers and internal stakeholders, including Client Account Managers (CAMs), Marketing, Bidding, RBLLs, and the Executive Board.
• Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of experience, including roles at the Director or Vice President level.
• A minimum of 4 years of leadership experience in business development strategy and team management.
