This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• The Campaign Director for Light the Night (LTN) is a passionate revenue leader and relationship builder dedicated to securing and expanding impactful fundraising through executive leadership committees, corporate and community partnerships, and creative donor engagement strategies.
• This position is tasked with achieving the Light the Night revenue targets in their designated market while ensuring consistent year-over-year growth.
• Collaborating closely with the National Campaign Director, LTN, this role will formulate and implement strategic fundraising plans that generate essential funding for life-saving research and patient support services.
• This is predominantly an external-facing position, requiring over 40% of time spent outside the office engaging with executive leaders, corporate partners, and key stakeholders to foster transformational fundraising growth for Light the Night.
• Recruit and cultivate high-impact Executive Leadership Committees to enhance fundraising outcomes.
• Optimize ethical revenue generation through strategic corporate and community collaborations.
• Broaden and fortify the pipeline of top-tier fundraisers through proactive prospecting and relationship cultivation.
• Lead and guide staff teams to recruit, motivate, and engage fundraising volunteers.
• Ensure the success and sustainability of Light the Night by providing exceptional experiences for participants and partners.
• A Bachelor's degree is required for this role, or equivalent experience.
• Over 7 years of progressively responsible experience in sales or business development within a service industry, or ideally, senior-level fundraising leadership within a nonprofit organization.
• Expertise in fundraising management with a proven history of achieving fundraising success, particularly in corporate development, major giving, and peer-to-peer fundraising.
• Experience in operational management while leading a staff team.
• Proven ability to recruit, retain, mentor, motivate, and lead a professional team to accomplish measurable goals and objectives.
• Demonstrated success in senior volunteer recruitment, management, and development.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to connect with, build, and maintain a diverse range of relationships.
• Strong planning, fiscal management, and analytical abilities.
• Outstanding written, oral, and public presentation skills.
