This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Recruit and train childcare centers as well as family childcare providers involved in the CACFP.
• Perform on-site monitoring reviews and conduct visits to in-home providers.
• Offer technical assistance and customer support to guarantee adherence to program regulations.
• Review and process necessary documentation, including monthly claims and disallowances.
• Educate providers and staff on systems like Minute Menu.
• Execute outreach activities to enhance community awareness of CACFP.
• Maintain organized electronic records and required documentation for each provider.
• Build and sustain community partnerships to broaden program reach and resources.
• Stay updated on USDA, ODE, and CHA regulations and requirements.
• Prepare and submit precise weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly reports.
• Assist in the development of program materials, training resources, and educational tools.
• Participate in regional, state, and team meetings.
• Adhere to Ohio laws regarding the reporting of suspected child abuse or neglect.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Associate’s Degree in Nutrition, Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or a related field; or more than 2 years of relevant experience.
• Preferred experience with structured childcare programs and training.
• Valid State of Ohio driver’s license with the ability to travel frequently within Northwest Ohio.
• Knowledge of USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) regulations.
• Understanding of child nutrition, child development, and early childhood education principles.
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication as well as presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and communities.
• Proficiency in using computers, email, internet, and relevant software applications.
