This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.
• Acquire both traditional and non-traditional supplies and services that support the AISR Division.
• Ensure that procurement activities adhere to company policies, procedures, and relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
• Collaborate with engineers and internal stakeholders to select sources and procure items that meet schedule, cost, and quality standards.
• Develop and propose alternative or additional sourcing options.
• Review and negotiate the terms and conditions set by suppliers.
• Identify and maintain sources of supply using advanced purchasing strategies.
• Evaluate source justifications and commercial item determinations for compliance.
• Review, monitor, and process Purchase Requests effectively.
• Address delivery, quality, and pricing issues with vendors.
• Accurately enter and update orders in Costpoint.
• Keep track of outstanding lead times and schedules.
• Conduct regular Purchase Order reconciliations.
• Anticipate future procurement needs and identify new supplier sources.
• Inform suppliers about rejections and the costs associated with defective materials.
• Expedite deliveries and secure approvals for alternative procurement methods as necessary.
• Assist with Planning, Shipping & Receiving, and Inventory management efforts.
• Maintain procurement records and supply chain performance metrics.
• Perform evaluations of suppliers.
• Resolve issues related to discrepant materials both internally and with suppliers.
• Ensure timely delivery of procurements to customer locations.
• A Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field, along with 2–4 years of progressive procurement experience supporting federal contracts; or a High School Diploma with 8–10 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with CPSR compliance and audit support.
• Proficient in Costpoint 8.0 Procurement Planning, Purchasing, and Material Management Modules.
• Knowledge of DoD procurement processes and familiarity with FAR / DFAR procurement regulations.
• Understanding of parts, materials, and process requirements pertinent to aerospace and defense applications.
• Experience in sourcing from foreign suppliers and handling procurements subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.
• Experience in placing complex foreign and domestic POs/Subcontracts and managing high-volume POs.
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of cross-functional responsibilities involving Accounting, Contracts, and Program Management.
• Proven experience in supplier negotiations.
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Successful completion of a comprehensive background check, security investigation, and drug screening is required.
