Business Systems Analyst II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a liaison between technology and business stakeholders by identifying tasks and techniques.

• Develop and manage User Stories/Requirements for various projects.

• Align user stories with features and establish acceptance criteria.

• Collaborate with the Product Owner to refine user stories and prioritize the backlog.

• Follow Agile principles while executing the responsibilities of the role.

• Foster collaboration among cross-functional teams.

• Facilitate communication with stakeholders to determine business needs.

• Document business processes along with functional, non-functional, and technical specifications.

• Ensure adherence to audit requirements.

• Conduct research and analysis to identify trends that support decision-making.

• Generate simple SQL queries and data maps as required.

• Establish and maintain a repository of project artifacts utilizing SharePoint or Jira.

• Lead departmental initiatives with minimal supervision.

• Provide mentoring and training to junior team members.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is mandatory.

• Additional certifications in Agile, Scrum, or DevOps are highly desirable.

• A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience is required.

• Familiarity with Azure Development Ops (ADO) or JIRA is advantageous.

• At least 3 years of experience in SQL querying is required.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in modeling/mapping business processes is necessary.

• At least 1 year of experience in planning and facilitating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for projects and enhancements is expected.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to facilitate meetings, deliver presentations using various audio/visual aids, negotiate, and build consensus with minimal supervision.

• Ability to perform detailed data mapping and modeling, create network topology diagrams, and process flow diagrams is required.

• Proven knowledge of APIs is necessary.

• Practical experience with Oracle, Microsoft SQL, and .NET, as well as MySQL, Java, and web-based applications is preferred.
