This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

• Evaluate the credit union’s product offerings to understand competitive positioning, market demand, and member requirements.
• Assist in product development, enhancement, and discontinuation decisions through strategic analysis.
• Discover opportunities to boost product relevance and member engagement.
• Assess product-level profitability across lending, deposit, and ancillary offerings.
• Create pricing models and evaluate the financial implications of product structure or rate modifications.
• Provide strategic recommendations that align profitability with member value.
• Analyze how product features, pricing, and terms convert into significant member benefits.
• Keep track of competitor offerings, pricing strategies, and trends in financial services.
• Investigate market changes, regulatory updates, and shifting member behaviors.
• Present actionable insights to aid in strategic planning and product innovation.
• Act as a pivotal advisor to executive leadership regarding product and business strategy.
• Collaborate with teams across lending, operations, marketing, finance, technology, and analytics.
• Serve as a bridge between Business Intelligence/Data Analytics and business units to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Create frameworks and reporting tools to evaluate product performance metrics, including volume, margin, adoption, and portfolio mix.
• Perform advanced analyses to uncover trends, risks, and growth avenues.
• Prepare executive-level reports, presentations, and strategic business cases.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• At least 7 years of pertinent experience required; 10+ years preferred in a credit union or financial institution setting.
• Strong knowledge of credit union lending and deposit products, pricing frameworks, profitability factors, and regulatory aspects.
• Proven experience in: Product strategy and financial modeling, Pricing and profitability analysis, Competitive market intelligence, Member segmentation and cohort analysis, Strategic planning and executive-level reporting.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities with the competence to interpret complex business and financial data.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with a track record of influencing senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Strategic thinker capable of balancing analytical precision, operational realities, and member-focused results.
