Business Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Convert customer needs into organized platform-level solutions, generating PRDs, process flows, technical specifications, and domain models as key outputs.

• Assess and abstract jurisdictional differences across government client needs.

• Analyze the technical viability of proposed solutions in collaboration with Engineering leads.

• Establish platform abstractions and configuration strategies.

• Guarantee that requirements documentation is thorough, traceable, and actionable.

• Interact directly with Product Managers and Business Analysts.

• Work alongside Product Owners to ensure BSA deliverables are effectively transformed into user stories.

• Collaborate with Engineering leads to review and enhance solution designs.

• Engage in sprint reviews and planning sessions as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Public Administration, or a similar field.

• Over 5 years of experience in business analysis, solution architecture, product management, or a related area within a software product environment.

• Proven experience in producing organized requirements documentation, including PRDs, process flows, use cases, and domain models.

• A strong grasp of software development lifecycles and Agile delivery methodologies, including the transition of requirements from strategy to implementation.

• Capability to analyze intricate, multi-stakeholder requirements and design scalable platform solutions that meet diverse client needs.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and translating business requirements to engineering teams.

• Experience collaborating with government or regulated industry clients, with a solid understanding of compliance-related requirements environments.
