This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +3 more states.
• Plans, executes, and implements initiatives for process improvement, including methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
• Analyzes and diagrams current processes for evaluation.
• Organizes, leads, and facilitates project teams that span multiple functions.
• Establishes metrics that supply data for measuring processes while identifying indicators for potential improvement opportunities.
• Gathers data to determine the root causes of issues.
• Assesses performance in relation to process requirements.
• Aligns improvements with areas of performance shortfalls.
• Offers consultation on re-engineering techniques aimed at enhancing process performance and product quality.
• May conduct presentations and training sessions covering measurement, analysis, improvement, and control aspects.
• Researches and assesses best practices related to techniques and processes.
• Communicates progress made by the team.
• Conducts cost and benefit analyses.
• A Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of pertinent experience.
• Over 3 years of focused experience in Lean Manufacturing or Operational Excellence (OpEx) implementation, achieving measurable gains in productivity, quality, cost, and delivery.
• Experience in spearheading transactional and business process improvement initiatives across various functions, including distribution centers, supply chain, quality, finance, operations, HR, or shared services.
• Possession of an advanced Lean or Six Sigma certification (such as Black Belt or Master Black Belt).
• Previous experience in consulting for operational excellence or process transformation.
• Proven success in leading projects within highly regulated industries, such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, aerospace, or automotive.
• Proficiency in data analytics tools, including Power BI, Tableau, or Minitab.
• Certification in change management or substantial experience with organizational change initiatives.
• Strong presentation and facilitation capabilities for both executive-level and frontline audiences.
• Experience in developing and delivering training on Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement methodologies.
• Multilingual skills, particularly in Spanish, due to international travel and cross-border collaboration.
• Familiarity with digital transformation, Industry 4.0, or advanced manufacturing technologies.
• A proven history of mentoring or coaching other professionals in process improvement.
• Experience in succession planning and talent development.
• Strong financial literacy, including cost/benefit analysis and budget management.
• High adaptability and comfort in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
• For degrees obtained outside the United States, a degree that fulfills the specifications of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
