This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.
• Design, innovate, and implement solutions to enhance systems and processes.
• Advocate for customer needs, comprehend business requirements, and pinpoint opportunities for improvement and productivity.
• Evaluate analytical needs and determine suitable actions.
• Manage relationships across project teams and facilitate effective solutions.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of database structures and business intelligence tools.
• Act as the primary contact for data analytics and process enhancement.
• Conduct data analysis and develop queries, programs, and automation.
• Ensure that reported data is meaningful and accurate.
• Lead the gathering of data requirements for problem identification, resolution, and solution design.
• Provide analytical insights to influence strategic business decisions.
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams and offer project/task coordination services.
• Identify and document issues, barriers, and risks for management consideration.
• Manage workload, deadlines, expectations, scope changes, and deliverables effectively.
• Implement project modifications in accordance with change control policies and procedures.
• Communicate project nature, significance, and risk factors to all stakeholders.
• Engage in post-implementation project reviews.
• Collect customer requirements and convert business needs into actionable solutions.
• Participate in training and professional development activities.
• Support colleagues and foster a positive team spirit and collaborative problem-solving environment.
• Master’s degree in Information Technology/Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or Hospital Administration, OR a bachelor’s degree in the aforementioned fields.
• Four years of data analytics experience may substitute for the required degree.
• EPIC official designation of “Proficient” is required within the new hire probationary period.
• One year of experience with relational database structures, including design, testing, troubleshooting, and/or training, for the master’s-degree pathway.
• One year of experience in data analysis and/or healthcare planning for the master’s-degree pathway.
• One year of experience with reporting tools such as Crystal Reports for the master’s-degree pathway.
• Two years of experience with relational database structures, including design, testing, troubleshooting, and/or training, for the bachelor’s-degree pathway.
• Two years of experience in data analysis and/or healthcare planning for the bachelor’s-degree pathway.
• Two years of experience with reporting tools such as Crystal Reports for the bachelor’s-degree pathway.
• Proficiency with SQL/Oracle and/or Business Objects.
• Internal candidates must meet all mandatory competencies in their current role to be eligible for promotion within IT.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Capacity to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary groups and facilitate meetings.
• Strong reading and comprehension skills.
• Proficient typing skills.
• Ability to read and write legibly in English.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong task prioritization skills and ability to make independent decisions.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and adapt to varying workloads.

• Full-time scheduled hours of 40 per week.
