This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kenya.
• Serve as the main support and strategic partner to the business owner.
• Oversee calendars, meetings, priorities, and business communications.
• Create reports, presentations, and operational updates.
• Anticipate potential challenges and proactively suggest solutions.
• Supervise daily business operations to ensure processes function smoothly.
• Develop and refine SOPs, workflows, and internal systems.
• Monitor KPIs and assess operational performance.
• Collaborate across departments to guarantee the seamless execution of business objectives.
• Lead projects from planning stages through to execution and completion.
• Set timelines, milestones, and accountability measures.
• Manage resources to ensure timely project delivery.
• Identify risks and proactively address roadblocks.
• Lead and manage remote team members across various functions.
• Conduct regular check-ins, performance assessments, and coaching.
• Promote accountability, productivity, and a high-performance culture.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and team development as needed.
• Support and oversee e-commerce initiatives and online business operations.
• Coordinate with marketing, customer service, fulfillment, and product teams.
• Monitor sales performance, inventory levels, and customer experience.
• Identify areas for improving operational efficiency and profitability.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Operations, Executive Assistance, Project Management, Operations Management, or a similar leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience in managing remote teams.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities.
• Experience in the e-commerce sector.
• Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Strong leadership presence, with the ability to make decisions and enforce accountability.
• Highly proactive, resourceful, and solution-focused.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Familiarity with Shopify, Amazon, WooCommerce, or other e-commerce platforms.
• Experience with project management tools such as Asana, ClickUp, Monday.com, Trello, or Jira.
• Proficiency with CRM systems, automation tools, and business reporting.
• Background in supporting founders, CEOs, or executive leadership teams.
