Business Operations Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.

📋 Description

• Serve as a vital cross-functional collaborator with Merchants, Planners, Finance, and Inventory by delivering insights and ensuring purchase orders comply with business regulations.

• Integrate data from multiple tools (such as Excel, Power BI, and Process Street) to guide order-level recommendations and shape overarching purchasing strategies.

• Proactively detect trends and potential risks within orders and initiate discussions to address underlying issues.

• Assist in process enhancements aimed at increasing margins, minimizing inventory risks, or streamlining decision-making across departments.

• Enhance the approval workflow through data analysis and close cooperation with stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1.5–5 years of professional experience post-college (or 2+ years of internships), preferably in finance or business, with a strong academic record (3.5+ GPA) demonstrating discipline and follow-through.

• Detail-oriented and proficient with numbers - comfortable with margin, cost, and inventory calculations, capable of identifying personal errors, and well-organized enough to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Excellent communicator and relationship-builder - a personable individual who can navigate difficult conversations and simplify complex processes.

• Tech-savvy and inquisitive - already utilizing tools like Claude or ChatGPT to automate repetitive tasks, quickly adapts to new platforms (Asana, Notion, Zapier), and is eager to learn SQL and Power BI.

• Driven to advance - demonstrates a history of progression rather than stagnation, with the motivation and energy to continue moving forward.
