Business Intelligence Developer – Report Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Report Development: Create, design, and implement customized reports and dashboards within the Epic EHR system utilizing Epic’s reporting tools such as Reporting Workbench, Radar, SlicerDicer, and leveraging Caboodle and Clarity data sources.

• Data Analysis: Assess business requirements and convert them into technical specifications for report creation.

• Collaboration: Partner closely with stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, administrators, and IT teams, to collect requirements and comprehend reporting needs.

• Troubleshooting: Detect and rectify issues associated with Epic reports and data inconsistencies.

• Documentation: Generate and sustain comprehensive documentation for report specifications, development methodologies, and user manuals.

• Compliance: Ensure that reports adhere to industry regulations, standards, and organizational policies.

• Continuous Improvement: Remain updated with the latest enhancements and best practices concerning Epic reporting tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field is preferred.

• Relevant certifications in Epic Reporting are preferred.

• Experience: A minimum of 3 years in report development, specifically focusing on healthcare reporting within Epic EHR systems.

• Proficiency in Epic’s Reporting Workbench, Radar, Caboodle, and Clarity is required.

• Experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

• Technical Skills: Strong SQL proficiency and familiarity with programming languages.

• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes is advantageous.

• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to interpret complex data and convert it into actionable insights.

• Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
