Business Intelligence Data Analyst II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide support to Advarra’s Analytics and Reporting team, collaborating closely with both Business Intelligence and Data Engineering to produce reports, dashboards, and data-driven insights.

• Develop and maintain deliverables, perform ad hoc analyses, and address business and technical challenges.

• Comprehend and enhance data structures to ensure consistent data capture and reporting.

• Take the lead in scenarios where new data modeling is necessary to support business objectives.

• Adhere to best practices as established by Data Engineering to meet Business Intelligence requirements.

• Foster collaboration by identifying the necessary individuals for implementing solutions.

• Collaborate with the Business and Product Management teams to ensure that relevant requirements are accurately captured and documented.

• Assist in designing solutions that cater to analytics needs.

• Maintain awareness of all ongoing development, irrespective of team ownership, for effective tracking and project updates.

• Engage in release management and deployment activities as needed.

• Monitor data feeds and work with Data Engineering to resolve any issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Information Science, or a related field of experience.

• 2-4 years of experience focusing on SQL coding, system and data feed monitoring, as well as data validation.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel.

• Advanced knowledge of Snowflake.

• Advanced skills in Databricks.

• Advanced expertise in SQL.

• Familiarity with DBT.

• Proficient in using Github.

• Advanced presentation skills.

• Advanced business analysis capabilities.

• Proven ability to make effective, well-reasoned decisions.

• Demonstrated proficiency in gathering end-user requirements.

• Capability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

• Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills, with a proven track record of adapting and managing change.
