Business Intelligence Analyst – Data & Reporting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Generate insights to facilitate decision-making for Connect for Health Colorado (C4).

• Assist in the technical expansion and accessibility of C4 BI Analytics, including the development and training of Self-Service Power BI Viewers and Super-Users.

• Provide reporting for the Board/Management as well as for regulatory compliance.

• Drive continuous enhancements in information management and delivery processes.

• Collaborate with the BI Data Engineer and BI Developer to implement advancements in BI visualization technologies and Self-Service Information Delivery.

• Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of customers, business operations, opportunities, and challenges to create measures, metrics, reports, and analyses that foster tangible improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a resident of Colorado.

• Bachelor's degree in business information & analytics, business intelligence, statistics & data science, data visualization, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• 2-3 years of experience in applying analytics to enhance business outcomes.

• 2-3 years of demonstrated ability to manage priorities and consistently meet deadlines utilizing Agile methodologies (Kanban, JIRA).

• 2-3 years of experience in developing reports from complex data models and working with both structured and unstructured data.

• 2-3 years of experience with SQL (Snowflake).

• 3-4 years of familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, and the MS Office Suite.

• 3-4 years of experience in writing M and DAX for Power BI, as well as VBA for Excel; experience with DAX Optimizer is advantageous.

• 3-4 years of experience with JSON, Python or R, along with excellent data analysis and quantification skills.

• Knowledge of current cloud-based BI architectures (AWS experience is a plus).

• Understanding of general ETL/ELT capabilities (processes and tools).

• Familiarity with the health care and/or insurance industries is preferred.
