Business Intelligence Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Collect comprehensive requirements from business teams for new initiatives in business intelligence and reporting.

• Record requirements and convert them into user stories for the development team.

• Create and develop data models to meet the reporting and analytics requirements of the business.

• Collaborate closely with data engineers and developers to ensure the effective delivery of BI solutions.

• Test and validate BI outputs to confirm they fulfill the specified requirements and deliver the anticipated value.

• Liaise with business stakeholders to collect feedback, resolve issues, and manage ongoing support.

• Exhibit exceptional attention to detail and robust problem-solving abilities to identify and rectify data quality concerns.

• Maintain clear and concise communication with all project team members and stakeholders.

• Continuously acquire knowledge and keep abreast of the latest BI tools, technologies, and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Data Science, or Business Analytics.

• 1-2 years of experience in a data-centric role, ideally within a business intelligence or reporting environment.

• Proficient in data modeling, ETL processes/tools, and BI reporting tools (e.g., QuickSight, Power BI, Tableau).

• Strong SQL abilities and familiarity with data warehousing concepts.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating technical details for business audiences.

• Attention to detail with a proven track record of delivering high-quality outcomes.

• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team setting.
