Business Information Security Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Analyze security vulnerabilities in organizations being acquired and propose solutions.

• Evaluate the security preparedness of companies that TELUS intends to acquire or has already acquired.

• Supervise the advancement and enhancement of the security program related to acquisitions.

• Offer direction to various teams within TELUS concerning compliance and security architecture.

• Independently manage several simultaneous projects, providing actionable insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of information security.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, engineering, or a related field.

• Skilled in creating and maintaining documentation for security compliance purposes.

• Practical experience in IT security evaluations, information security consulting, or IT risk assessment.

• Relevant professional certifications in security, risk management, or auditing (such as CISA, CRISC, CISSP, or CISM).

• Proficient in English, with experience in engaging with clients and colleagues in the language.
