Business Development Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Achieve or surpass sales growth objectives for the Direct Rx business along with other strategic goals.

• Utilize the CRM Account Classification system to segment territory and identify key customer targets.

• Analyze and assess each customer's store operations, financial data, business model, and profit drivers.

• Prepare and conduct pre-call planning while setting call objectives and anticipating potential objections.

• Drive sales discussions with Eye Care Professionals (ECPs) by challenging and persuading them to alter their behavior.

• Develop innovative tactical and strategic methods to meet and exceed business goals.

• Boost sales by proficiently communicating the benefits and advantages of Carl Zeiss Vision products and services.

• Organize, plan, and deliver on-site training and educational seminars.

⛳️ Requirements

• A BS or BA degree in Business, Public Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related field is strongly preferred.

• Over 3 years of experience in a successful business-to-business sales role, ideally in the Rx sales, optical, medical device, or retail operations sectors with Fortune 500 companies.

• A valid driver's license is required.

• Strong sales orientation with the capability to advance key opportunities through the sales cycle.

• Ability to excel in a competitive environment.

• Proven experience in devising plans to meet revenue and profitability targets.

• Effective consultative, conceptual, and negotiation skills.

• Proven ability to function as a collaborative team member.

• Self-motivated individual with the capability to work independently.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.

• Proficient in standard MS Office applications and company technology tools for territory management.
