Business Development Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• You will assess leads generated from marketing initiatives, tradeshows, webinars, and inbound high-interest prospects to identify sales opportunities.

• Collaborate with our marketing team to develop messaging that appeals to our target audience.

• Work alongside Account Executives to create an outbound prospecting strategy for target accounts within their territory using cold calls and emails.

• Foster long-term, trusting relationships with clients.

• Recognize client needs and recommend suitable products/services through a discovery process.

• Actively pursue new business opportunities in the western market.

• Willingness to travel to tradeshows within your territory as well as nationwide with the Senior BDR team/Manager.

• Arrange meetings or calls between prospective clients and Account Executives.

• Report to the Business Development Manager regarding sales results on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis.

• Stay informed about new products/services and updated pricing/payment plans.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in Business Development or Inside Sales within an IT/Software environment.

• Exceptional communication and time management abilities.

• A strong awareness of metrics and a desire to set and achieve goals.

• Proven experience as a Business Development Representative or in a similar position.

• Practical experience with various sales techniques, including cold calling.

• Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and business or sales development tools (e.g., Salesloft or Outreach.io).

• Proficient in MS Excel, including the ability to analyze spreadsheets and charts.

• Understanding of sales performance metrics.

• Capable of delivering engaging presentations.

• Manual dexterity for repetitive motions of wrists, hands, and fingers while using a computer.

• Ability to perform stationary tasks, including sitting for extended periods in a fixed position.
