This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish and nurture relationships with Navy stakeholders, program managers, and industry partners.
• Identify and qualify opportunities within Navy programs that correspond with Defense Unicorns’ solutions.
• Partner with Account Executives to develop opportunities early in the acquisition process.
• Monitor Navy priorities, funding channels, and acquisition strategies to foresee where Defense Unicorns can provide value.
• Convey mission and technical insights to the Growth and Engineering teams to enhance our offerings.
• Act as a representative for Defense Unicorns at Navy-centric industry events, conferences, and working groups.
• 2–4 years of experience in business development, capture, or sales (preferably in the defense sector).
• In-depth knowledge of Navy acquisition processes, program offices, and budget cycles.
• Enthusiasm for aligning technology with mission outcomes.
• Exceptional communication skills—both in cultivating trusted relationships and in delivering clear, concise written communication.
• A growth mindset, inquisitiveness, and a tendency to take initiative.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly collaborative startup environment.
