This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Establish the commercial pipeline in the Midwest.
• Cultivate relationships with operators, convenience retail groups, payment partners, venue proprietors, industrial campuses, hospitals, universities, logistics centers, and workplace service providers.
• Pinpoint high-quality pilot opportunities.
• Convert demo interest into pilot agreements, letters of intent, partnerships, and customer commitments.
• Facilitate meetings, demos, customer discovery sessions, and partner discussions.
• Collect market insights and convert them into product and deployment specifications.
• Assist in defining pilot economics, customer success metrics, and the regional launch strategy.
• Direct experience in at least one of the following areas is mandatory:
• - Vending machine sector
• - Micro-markets
• - Convenience stores / c-store sector
• - Payments / merchant acquiring / POS / payment terminals
• - Unattended retail
• - Retail automation
• - Self-service kiosks
• - Office coffee service
• - Route-based operations
• - Food service automation
• - Workplace services
• - Industrial site services
• Robust network within Michigan, the Midwest, or the US vending / convenience / payments / unattended retail landscape.
• Capability to sell into traditional sectors and establish trust with operators and location owners.
• Proficiency in understanding machine economics, payment workflows, service operations, inventory management, uptime, and operator concerns.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Willingness to travel throughout the Midwest and occasionally to company or investor meetings.
• Experience with vending operators, micro-market operators, c-store groups, payment providers, industrial campuses, hospitals, universities, logistics centers, or workplace service companies.
• Experience in selling or launching hardware-plus-software solutions.
• Experience with field pilots, route operations, retail technology, or machine deployments.
• Proven experience in building a new territory from the ground up.
