Business Development Manager – Small Molecule

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Meet or surpass the annual revenue goals for the West territory, which includes California, Washington, Oregon, and Nevada, by utilizing relationships to deepen engagement with existing accounts and seeking new accounts within the research and development and manufacturing sectors.

• Drive new business development in the small molecule domain in alignment with our market strategy, operational strengths, and laboratory capabilities.

• Discover and secure new opportunities through both in-person meetings and virtual presentations.

• Collaborate effectively across the organization to promote and advance opportunities.

• Leverage personal experience to mentor peers on the Inside Business Development team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in sales for a service-oriented company within the pharmaceutical industry, such as CDMO, CRO, or CTO.

• Recent experience conducting field travel and participating in face-to-face client meetings.

• Strong scientific knowledge and the ability to assimilate new technical information swiftly.

• Exceptional communication skills, along with a keen attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.

• Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team, demonstrating self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive outlook.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in life sciences or business administration.

• A minimum of two years of experience in bio/pharmaceutical sales or project management within the contract services sector of the bio/pharmaceutical industry and/or testing services.

• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without any restrictions or sponsorship.

• Willingness to travel at least 40% of the time.
