This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Initiating, qualifying, and converting leads for services within the downstream Oil & Gas sector
β’ Managing partnerships and relationships with both new and existing customers
β’ Developing new market initiatives and formulating targeted commercial and marketing strategies
β’ Preparing the business plan for the sales practice and estimating sales potential
β’ Establishing and nurturing professional relationships with senior and C-level executives
β’ Analyzing the likelihood of winning deals and negotiating terms with clients
β’ Facilitating the education of Trindent differentiators and leading proposal presentations
β’ Utilizing both internal and external channels to identify clients and foster multi-million-dollar relationships
β’ Mentoring and managing business development associates; setting sales targets for the team
β’ Bachelor's degree
β’ Over 10 years of business development experience, preferably within an operations management consulting firm in the downstream Refinery or Oil & Gas sector
β’ Proven experience in developing, nurturing, and maintaining relationships with C-suite level clients
β’ Strong negotiation skills with the capability to lead significant negotiations at a senior level
β’ Proficient in assessing business needs from a service standpoint, including identifying client service requirements, estimating scope and resources, and creating initial approaches and work stream plans
β’ Willingness and availability to travel extensively locally and internationally, up to 50% of the time
β’ Maintains an active and up-to-date contact network within the North American refinery industry
