This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Expand South Pole's presence in the USA and Canada.

• Establish robust, long-lasting relationships with new strategic clients.

• Play a key role in defining and executing the go-to-market strategy within your region.

• Provide insights for the development of products and services.

• Assist in growing current accounts through the up-selling and cross-selling of our products and solutions.

• Assess and qualify client needs to create customized solutions.

• Compile a target list of relevant corporations in your area and actively pursue them.

• Create compelling offers and proposals in collaboration with product experts.

• Lead negotiations and finalize commercial agreements with clients.

• Foster long-term relationships with clients by ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.

• Represent South Pole at meetings, conferences, and virtual events.

• Identify market trends and contribute to product and service development.

• Enhance and refine specialized skills and knowledge related to our offerings.

• Lead and manage a small team of sales professionals directly.

• Act as the primary point of contact for existing clients to build trusted relationships.

• Oversee negotiations and finalize deals with clients.

• Coordinate deliverables with the implementation team.

• Ensure client satisfaction by maintaining high standards of service.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Sustainability and/or a related business discipline.

• Minimum of 6 years of demonstrated experience in business development/sales.

• Proven track record in generating new leads.

• History of meeting and surpassing sales targets.

• Results-oriented and proactive with a strong sense of urgency.

• Strong commercial skills and sound business judgment.

• Critical thinking and decision-making abilities with notable business and commercial acumen.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.

• Advanced prioritization and time management capabilities.

• Authentic passion for and alignment with the climate change sector.

• Familiarity with climate action and carbon projects is advantageous.

• Experience in solution selling and collaboration with technical consultants is a plus.

• Comfort in a fast-paced international environment is beneficial.

• Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
