This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Assist in the business development and growth strategy initiatives across the DoD, Intelligence Community, civilian agencies, and allied mission environments.
• Establish and uphold a robust pipeline of opportunities that are in line with the company’s growth objectives.
• Aid in the qualification of opportunities, account planning, competitive analysis, and capture support efforts.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with customers and partners across both government and industry stakeholders.
• Provide support for proposal development, solution positioning, customer briefings, and executive presentations.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among engineering, operations, contracts, finance, and leadership teams.
• Perform market research and competitive intelligence activities to uncover emerging mission and technology trends.
• Maintain CRM systems, accurately track opportunities, and forecast pipelines with a high level of discipline.
• Assist in industry events, conferences, customer interactions, and strategic partnership initiatives.
• Contribute to the formulation of growth strategies related to SATCOM, secure connectivity, space systems, and mission-focused communications capabilities.
• Proven experience in business development, capture, strategic sales, or growth-oriented roles serving government or defense customers.
• Knowledge of the DoD, Intelligence Community, civilian agency, or allied government acquisition environments.
• Comprehension of the government procurement lifecycle, contract vehicles, and customer engagement processes.
• Experience in pipeline development, CRM management, opportunity tracking, and capture activities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Capability to collaborate effectively with engineering, operations, finance, contracts, and leadership teams.
• Preference for familiarity with SATCOM, space systems, secure networking, managed communications, or mission-focused technology environments.
• Active Secret clearance is preferred; TS/SCI or the ability to obtain and maintain is also desired.
