This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.
• Identify potential clients engaged in the North America Plants and BESS markets and conduct thorough research on their business and requirements.
• Initiate contact with prospective clients to foster relationships with NovaSource.
• Conduct in-person and video conference sales meetings to present NovaSource’s service offerings and value proposition.
• Manage and oversee proposal development, collaborating closely with NovaSource’s Cost Estimator, Contracts Manager, and Admin Team.
• Follow up with clients to ensure NovaSource stays in the RFP process and revise proposals based on client feedback.
• Negotiate essential commercial terms with clients to secure deal awards.
• Work together with the Contracts Manager to finalize contracts.
• Log and monitor all opportunities and account outreach in NovaSource’s CRM.
• Build relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and providing customized solutions to address their unique challenges.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients, focusing on renewals and onboarding additional sites.
• Stay informed about all news related to clients and industry trends.
• Achieve or surpass quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, construction, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of business development experience in the solar or renewables sector.
• Proven B2B sales experience with tangible results.
• Strong understanding of solar technologies and BESS.
• Comfortable leading complex proposals and negotiations.
• Self-motivated, competitive, and results-oriented.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Full professional proficiency in English; Spanish is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.
