This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Spearhead the creation of a comprehensive sales pipeline and business proposals aimed at marketing demand response programs to major energy consumers in the US energy markets.
• Recognize and target new business prospects to meet established sales objectives.
• Cultivate strategic partnerships with clients, broaden professional networks, and represent the organization at pertinent industry events.
• Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate the development of client-centered solutions.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and synergies based on the needs of clients and the industry.
• Utilize Salesforce CRM for managing opportunities and ensuring disciplined pipeline and sales cycle oversight.
• Deliver market forecasts to support the company's growth strategy within the US.
• Enhance GridBeyond’s visibility in the US energy market, particularly focusing on PJM / MISO, to boost awareness and expand market presence.
• Formulate and implement regional growth strategies as a seasoned sales territory manager.
• Solid foundation in sales and business development, with the capability to cultivate and define long-term commercial prospects.
• Demonstrated proficiency in managing and forecasting sales cycles.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to a diverse stakeholder audience including operations managers, engineers, facility managers, and CFOs.
• Capacity to influence and negotiate within complex technical sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
• Strong customer management abilities and excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
• Commercial acumen with the ability to merge strategic thinking with operational execution.
• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM.
• Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Established relationships or contacts with industrial and commercial consumers in the US would be beneficial, though not mandatory.
• Awareness of industry best practices and a recognized reputation as a trusted professional in the field.
• Training in an acknowledged sales methodology such as SPIN, TAS, or Miller-Heiman.
