This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Act as a Value Architect™ and promote/facilitate Value Architect™ behaviors and activities.
• Create a client-facing pipeline and lead/manage/engage in client pursuits (including client discovery, presentations, proposal strategy, and proposal development).
• Formulate a sales strategy for the designated territory and provide weekly updates on progress to senior management.
• Employ a diverse range of sales techniques and methods to uncover healthcare IT consulting opportunities within the assigned territory, aligned with Baker Tilly’s core capabilities.
• Approaches may encompass, but are not limited to, cold-calling, client visits, client entertainment, email campaigns, participation in conferences/trade shows, and speaking engagements.
• Possess significant flexibility in determining effective strategies within the territory.
• Identify and utilize necessary support to thoroughly understand client needs, represent Baker Tilly, and finalize deals—such as technical assistance for calls, recruiting support, executive backing, and marketing resources.
• Sustain and enhance relationships with existing clients through regular and transparent communication.
• Ensure that performance standards are met by assigned consultants and that client satisfaction levels are maintained.
• Address any issues that may arise promptly.
• Leverage the support of the Business Development Manager to meet sales targets.
• Offer guidance and mentorship to the designated Business Development Manager in alignment with the Director's sales strategy, initiatives, and campaigns.
• Inform senior management about trends and shifts in healthcare IT (such as products, tools, pricing, and federal regulations) that could influence the company’s future direction or consulting services.
• Negotiate service agreements and statements of work with clients.
• Adhere strictly to CRM (Salesforce) protocols by consistently documenting opportunity notes and all related activities, maintaining an accurate and up-to-date pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• A Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Over 10 years of experience in healthcare-focused industries or in professional services supporting these fields (such as accounting, law, management consulting, municipal advising, etc.) is required.
• Experience in selling or delivering tax, assurance, and/or consulting services within healthcare, particularly with hospitals, health systems, specialty and ancillary providers, and/or healthcare IT environments, is required.
• Exceptional sales skills with a proven history of meeting KPIs.
• Strong interpersonal abilities and a talent for building rapport with internal partners, senior management, and stakeholders across varying levels of experience.
• A driven and ambitious individual with a robust desire to succeed.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship is required.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% as necessary.
