This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the main custodian of Salesforce opportunity data, guaranteeing its accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all current and potential opportunities.
• Ensure pipeline integrity by managing required fields, stage alignment, probability accuracy, values, and timelines.
• Verify that opportunity progression aligns with Chartis’ Shipley-informed capture stages.
• Generate pipeline reports and dashboards to assist leadership reviews and growth planning initiatives.
• Recognize early-stage opportunities through customer forecasts, market analysis, agency buying trends, contract vehicle pipelines, and partner contributions.
• Facilitate opportunity qualification by collecting essential data points such as customer details, scope, contract vehicle, timeline, incumbents, and competitive landscape.
• Aid vertical owners and capture managers with initial go/no-go evaluations and readiness assessments.
• Collaborate with various vertical owners to assist in building, maintaining, and enhancing their pipelines.
• Support capture managers with opportunity setup, data entry, updates, and initial capture documentation.
• Coordinate efforts across Business Development, capture, proposals, operations, and finance to ensure that pipeline data accurately reflects actual execution status.
• Promote standardization and enhancement of Business Development and pipeline processes, templates, and reporting.
• Maintain capture artifacts in accordance with Shipley principles and Chartis’ internal Business Development process.
• Detect pipeline deficiencies or data gaps and proactively suggest improvements.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 1–4 years of experience in supporting business development, capture, sales operations, or pipeline management.
• Practical experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM system.
• Fundamental understanding of the Shipley capture methodology and the federal opportunity lifecycle.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work comfortably with structured data.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities while assisting several vertical owners.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
