This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Cultivates profitable business account relationships and enhances profitability from both new and existing accounts.
• Recognizes business opportunities based on understanding clients, markets, products, and services.
• Conducts sales presentations for current and/or potential clients, highlighting the advantages of utilizing the organization's products and services to fulfill their needs.
• Establishes and sustains an effective referral network and call program to boost sales.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Seven to nine years or more of pertinent work experience.
• Willingness to travel (local and regional, with some national travel).
• Previous experience in business card sales/payments.
• Strong sales and new business development capabilities, with a proven track record in prospecting new logo opportunities, conducting insightful and consultative discovery, and driving deals from strategy through to closure.
• Background in working with mid-sized to large enterprises, including clients generating $10MM+ in annual revenue.
• Proficient credit analysis and financial assessment skills, along with a grasp of basic accounting principles related to financial transactions.
• Established success in developing and utilizing Centers of Influence (COIs) to create new business opportunities.
• Proven ability to manage pipeline activity with effective follow-up and execution discipline.
• Comprehensive knowledge of payment products, including a general understanding of product marketing and organizational operations.
• Strong customer relationship management abilities, encompassing negotiation, decision-making, and creative problem-solving.
• Demonstrated capacity to collaborate with internal teams to expand and retain existing portfolio customers.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools for managing leads, activities, and sales performance.
