
Business Analytics Lead Analyst – Dental Economics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Assist Dental Economics by analyzing provider costs and utilization to promote affordable network expansion.
• Create reports, models, dashboards, and analytical solutions that cover provider performance, network effects, and business trends.
• Extract claims and product data from data warehouses and convert complex information into straightforward reports.
• Collaborate with senior business leaders to clarify requests, define business questions, and suggest analytical strategies.
• Guide junior team members and share industry best practices.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses for both internal and external stakeholders using business acumen, data insights, SQL, SAS, and other tools.
• Work collaboratively across departments to align stakeholders, facilitate project transitions, and offer subject matter expertise.
• Oversee multiple priorities, negotiate timelines, and deliver results within established service levels and deadlines.
• Clearly communicate findings, risks, next steps, and outcomes to aid in decision-making.
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of post-graduate education and/or relevant industry experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Skilled in SQL, along with Python and/or SAS or R.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Preferred experience in healthcare or dental claims analytics.
• Preferred background in analyzing provider contracts, claims utilization, network performance, or cost-of-care trends.
• Preferred familiarity with Tableau or Power BI.
• Preferred experience in developing models, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
• Preferred ability to convert complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
• Preferred experience in a matrixed environment collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• For remote work, internet service must be cable broadband or fiber optic with a minimum of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
