Business Analyst, Power BI Specialist – Finance & Accounting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Collect and assess business requirements from the Finance and Accounting departments.

• Convert financial reporting needs into adaptable Power BI solutions.

• Create, develop, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports.

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.

• Educate and empower Finance and Accounting users to independently handle reports in Power BI.

• Work closely with internal IT teams, Data Engineers, and Project Managers.

• Ensure reporting solutions are user-friendly, efficient, and meet business requirements.

• Offer troubleshooting and problem-solving assistance for Power BI reporting solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–8+ years of practical experience with Power BI, particularly in Finance and/or Accounting settings.

• Demonstrated success in delivering Power BI reporting projects for Finance/Accounting.

• Strong business analysis capabilities, with the ability to gather and structure requirements from non-technical stakeholders.

• Comprehensive understanding of financial and accounting terminology and reporting processes.

• Experience in mentoring business users on Power BI.

• Capability to independently design and implement technical Power BI solutions.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Patient, solution-focused, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to occasionally travel to Geneva.

• Proficient in English; knowledge of German and/or French is an advantage.
