Business Analyst, Intermediate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with both business and technical stakeholders to gather, document, and confirm data and reporting requirements.

• Convert business objectives into actionable specifications for the Data Engineering team.

• Assist in refining the backlog, writing user stories, and defining acceptance criteria.

• Partner with Data Engineers and the Product Owner to verify data solutions.

• Utilize Oracle SQL to analyze datasets and ensure data accuracy.

• Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Identify and document issues related to data quality.

• Work alongside engineers to develop resolution strategies and implement preventive measures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess current Government of Canada clearance at Reliability level or higher at the time of application.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst is required.

• Experience with large-scale enterprise transformations is preferred.

• Intermediate level of proficiency in Business Requirements Analysis.

• Basic knowledge of Oracle SQL and Product Development is required.

• Demonstrated experience in gathering, documenting, and validating business and data requirements.

• Capability to convert business needs into clear technical specifications.

• Familiarity with Oracle SQL and the ability to read and interpret data.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Comfort in using data to assist business analysis and validate solutions.
