This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Execute thorough, hands-on analyses to uncover opportunities for enhancing business operations and overall performance within the organization.
• Perform root cause investigations to identify the factors influencing key performance indicators associated with customer experience and internal efficiency.
• Create and sustain essential business metrics, performance dashboards, and regular reports that offer a comprehensive overview of the company's health.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate progress towards strategic objectives, ensuring coherence between operational actions and business results.
• Provide actionable insights regarding trends such as workflow efficiency, resource utilization, customer satisfaction, and service quality.
• Collaborate across various departments, including business, operations, and leadership teams, to convert analytical insights into effective strategies and process improvements.
• Assist in strategic initiatives from the planning phase to execution, ensuring decisions are informed by data and performance is clearly tracked.
• Convey insights and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, promoting a culture of analytical rigor and ongoing improvement.
• A minimum of 3 years of pertinent work experience in a data-focused role (e.g., analytics, business intelligence, business analytics, finance, investment banking, financial/risk modeling, pricing, management consulting, etc.).
• A Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business, or Finance, or a combination of relevant education, experience, and training.
• Proficiency in understanding and addressing complex, open-ended challenges, with the ability to adapt, operate, and succeed amidst ambiguity.
• Experience in data manipulation and summarization using SQL.
• Proven ability to communicate results and insights to cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, etc.).
• Experience in developing forecasting models.
• Proficient in using statistical software such as Python or R.
• Background in the financial technology sector.
