Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with engineering component teams to provide scalable and adaptable software solutions that meet business requirements.

• Convert business needs, user requirements, and technological capabilities into developer-focused user stories and product specifications that ensure successful implementations.

• Create comprehensive acceptance criteria that developers and QA teams can depend on for task completion.

• Advocate for Agile principles and methodologies, including managing team backlogs, defining and prioritizing epics, features, user stories, and other artifacts to facilitate development objectives.

• Participate in and, when necessary, lead Agile meetings and ceremonies.

• Conduct acceptance testing for defined scopes and record detailed steps to replicate and expected behavior for any identified bugs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience as a business analyst or product owner, ideally in a technical capacity for a SaaS product.

• Proficient in Jira, Confluence, and Figma, with advanced knowledge of Jira functionalities.

• Technical fluency - Ability to comprehend, discuss, and challenge architectural concepts, trade-offs, and new opportunities with technical team members.

• Practical experience utilizing AI/LLM tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) within a product development environment.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for articulating ideas, narratives, and complex technical information to a diverse audience, including executives, stakeholders, and engineers.
