This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Operate with minimal supervision from the Project Manager to accomplish the following: Elicit and document user requirements in diverse formats and tools, including agile/scrum user stories.
• Design – Develop process flow diagrams, define user roles and responsibilities, and create documentation for functional and work breakdown components.
• Test - Establish system tests, execute testing, and validate accuracy for medium to large-scale projects. Collaborate with the Load Test team to define load tests and quality assurance, while supervising the testing efforts of less experienced team members.
• Influence and lead a cross-functional team to optimize application functionalities and business processes. Provide Business Analysis and Project/Product support for the development, enhancement, quality evaluation, and ongoing support of relevant lines of business (LOBs).
• Leverage industry trends to shape requirements for new application features and enhancements that align with strategic priorities.
• Significantly contribute to the design process to ensure alignment with business needs and an enhanced user experience.
• Gather requirements for multiple highly complex systems across various stakeholders; understand and apply the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in delivering outputs.
• Convert business requirements into technical specifications, considering various users, risks, and impact scenarios, and communicate these details appropriately to the development team.
• Utilize in-depth business knowledge and trajectory to collaborate with technical and business teams to support objectives and align with the roadmap.
• Partner with the Quality Assurance Services (QAS) to lead the project testing strategy. Participate in or support user acceptance testing to ensure quality in application releases and user experience.
• Provide guidance on security, risk management, and IT process principles and escalate issues to the appropriate teams when necessary. Collaborate effectively with security and risk teams to ensure that tech portfolio modifications comply with all relevant standards.
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related technical field.
• Over 5 years of experience in processes related to software application development.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to collaborate with others as well as work independently.
• Extensive development project experience with deep analytical skills in a specific discipline.
• Commitment to exceptional quality. Subject Matter Expert. Promotes quality. Develops test cases. Assesses and evaluates alternatives. Understands how potential ideas can unfold in the marketplace. Provides mentoring.
• Proficient in Archer GRC configuration and development is HIGHLY required.
• Knowledge of software development project lifecycle within a financial institution using technologies such as:
• Programming/Scripting Languages: Java, JavaScript, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA (Hibernate), PowerShell, Python, R
• Web Application Development: HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Bootstrap, Angular Framework, React Framework
• Databases: Oracle 12c, MS SQL Server, DB2, TeraData, PostgreSQL, and MySQL
• SOAP & REST API Integration
• DevOps, CI/CD, and automation tools: Docker, OpenShift, Jenkins, XL Release, Maven
• Source Control: Git/Bitbucket, JIRA, Team Forge, Atlassian/Confluence, and SharePoint.
• Application Servers: Windows, IIS, SQL Server, Nginx, WebSphere 9, Tomcat, Redis 3.0.7, RHEL 8.
• Eligible for incentive compensation, which may encompass production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
