This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Take the lead in identifying how we can fulfill essential needs to assist clients in achieving improved health and human services outcomes.
• Oversee workstreams and teams on IT projects to synchronize solutions with client business objectives.
• Leverage your expertise as an MMIS Subject Matter Expert (SME) and act as a liaison for clients as well as between technical and non-technical staff to convert requirements into tangible results.
• Distribute tasks among teams while mentoring and supervising project team members to plan, design, and enhance intricate business processes and modifications.
• Optimize workflows between clients and technical staff to ascertain, document, and manage the execution of system requirements.
• Ensure quality control by approving and validating test results to confirm that all requirements have been satisfied.
• Function as a reliable advisor and proxy to the functional lead, ensuring the alignment of priorities, risks, and execution across all provider initiatives.
• Serve as the operational backbone for the Provider workstream, facilitating daily execution while allowing leadership to concentrate on strategic priorities.
• Collaborate closely with leadership to convert strategic direction into actionable plans, timelines, and deliverables.
• Provide leadership continuity by stepping in to guide discussions, make decisions, and manage escalations as needed.
• A minimum of nine years of experience as a business analyst or 'requirements translator' between technical and non-technical personnel within the healthcare sector.
• At least three years of experience with Medicaid and Medicare is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel's advanced features, such as macros, and/or experience with relational database software.
• Capability to effectively and succinctly translate technical requirements for a non-technical audience.
• Experience in business processes and re-engineering.
• A natural curiosity for solving complex problems and strong interpersonal skills for engaging with and influencing clients and team members.
• A compassionate team leader who inspires and coaches less experienced team members.
• Extensive knowledge of MMIS interchange, with the ability to leverage that expertise for solution design, integration, and issue resolution.
• Strong understanding of Medicaid programs and provider domain operations, which supports effective decision-making and client alignment.
