Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate business performance, operational processes, and the current product experience to pinpoint areas for enhancement across products and internal workflows.

• Convert vague business inquiries into structured analyses, clear insights, and actionable strategies.

• Aid product development by generating precise requirements documentation (e.g., business requirements documents, process flow diagrams, gap analyses, acceptance criteria) based on operational realities and user needs.

• Utilize SQL for on-demand analysis to assist with product launches and address recurring business queries, collaborating with the Analytics team on more in-depth investigations.

• Collaborate with the Analytics team to establish success metrics and uncover insights for product launches and operational projects.

• Ensure that data outputs are precise, well-documented, and easily comprehensible for stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.

• Lead discovery initiatives, including stakeholder interviews and current-state workflow mapping, to gain a thorough understanding of operational workflows, challenges, and gaps.

• Combine qualitative and quantitative insights into coherent narratives that unify teams around the rationale behind decisions.

• Work closely with product managers, engineers, and operations partners to ensure that insights and requirements are recognized, prioritized, and effectively implemented.

• Continuously highlight business insights throughout the organization to guide strategy, prioritization, and execution.

• Assess the impact of product, operational, and partnership initiatives and communicate the findings to stakeholders.

• Identify and test opportunities to utilize AI and automation tools to enhance analytical workflows and team efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• BS/BA degree or higher.

• 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Product Analyst, or a comparable role.

• Demonstrated ability to decompose complex systems and processes into measurable elements.

• Proven capability to convert business needs into well-documented requirements, process flows, and gap analyses.

• Experience in leading discovery efforts, stakeholder interviews, and current-state workflow mapping.

• Proficient in writing SQL for on-demand analysis.

• Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Metabase, Omni, Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar) is preferred.

• Understanding of software development processes and product management methodologies (e.g., Agile).

• Experience utilizing AI tools for productivity is advantageous.

• Background in healthcare operations, care delivery, or clinical workflow environments is highly preferred.
