Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), technical manuals, and process documentation.

• Formulate and revise system specifications, business process workflows, and data migration strategies.

• Assist in data analysis and validation activities to ensure data integrity and consistency within a PLM system.

• Aid in the creation of test cases and user acceptance testing (UAT) to confirm system functionality and meet business requirements.

• Collaborate with development teams to monitor and document enhancements, issues, and their resolutions.

• Generate reports, presentations, and technical briefs for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Ensure adherence to industry best practices, DoD software policies, and DoD documentation standards.

• Manage document repositories and version control utilizing tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, or a PLM system.

• Contribute to training efforts by creating user guides, training materials, and instructional content.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.

• At least 5 years of experience in business analysis, technical writing, or documentation in an engineering, manufacturing, or software development setting.

• Exceptional technical writing skills with a background in developing SOPs, process documentation, user guides, and training materials.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and documentation tools like Confluence or SharePoint.

• Experience with enterprise application implementations such as PLM, ERP, MRP, DevSecOps, or CRM.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas to varied audiences.

• Must currently possess an active U.S. national security clearance or have the ability to obtain and maintain one.
