Business Advisory – Transactional Team Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Facilitate the weekly operating meeting for the team, reviewing scorecards, staffing/case mix, SLA health, risks, and priorities; eliminate obstacles and ensure adherence to plans.

• Guarantee equitable work distribution and throughput to achieve utilization and SLA targets; promote the use of playbooks, templates, and technology.

• Mentor attorneys and paralegals in executing established processes and quality assurance standards—avoiding ad-hoc practices.

• Take responsibility for client satisfaction, retention, and growth within your team’s portfolio; conduct alignment calls and maintain decision logs.

• Manage a select personal docket centered on high-impact negotiations, governance advisory, and intricate structuring.

• Collaborate with Practice Area Managers to ensure data integrity, dashboard accuracy, and proactive identification of warning signals.

• Oversee your individual output and your team’s collective performance; ensure appropriate task assignments are made to the right individuals at the right time.

• Promote the adoption and optimization of templates, matter plans, and platforms; maintain precise and repeatable checklists.

• Cultivate client relationships, mentor team members, and ensure smooth transitions between teams.


⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) and active membership in the Florida Bar.

• 7–10+ years of transactional experience demonstrating clear leadership qualities (delegation, coaching, judgment).

• Proven track record in leading negotiations/closings and managing intricate workflows.

• Strong skills in triage, prioritization, and team communication.

• Comfort in a structured, scorecard-driven work environment.

• Preferred: First-chair experience in significant M&A or strategic transactions.

• Experience with multistate, multi-entity, or complex commercial structures.

• Previous experience as a player-coach or team leader.
