Burmese Consecutive Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver consecutive interpretation services during phone calls, meetings, conferences, interviews, and various other settings.

• Attentively listen to the speaker in the source language and accurately relay the message in the target language.

• Uphold professionalism, confidentiality, and cultural awareness throughout the interpretation process.

• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and comply with Reviver's protocols, policies, and industry best practices as mandated by Reviver's clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience or 3000 hours of active interpretation.

• Fluency in at least two languages (both source and target languages).

• Evidence of English language proficiency, achieving 'technical proficiency' on the national ILR rating or an equivalent standard.

• Successful completion of a Mock Call assessment with a passing score.

• An updated resume that highlights relevant interpretation experience.

• A criminal background check conducted in English.

• Adequate technical setup to facilitate interpretation assignments (including a headset, stable internet, and a laptop).
