📋 Description

• Analyze, read, and summarize recommendations for enhancing efficiency through construction drawings, operations and maintenance manuals, control operating sequences/protocols, and standard operating procedures.

• Organize, manage, and conduct site visits with clients to document and geolocate assets, evaluate their condition, and capture evidence of building automation systems in operation.

• Utilize Energy Star Portfolio Manager (ESPM) for benchmarking energy consumption.

• Carry out energy use intensity calculations based on ASHRAE 100 standards.

• Assess the current maintenance approach and gather evidence of its implementation.

• Review existing training processes for maintenance and operations personnel and collect evidence of training execution.

• Operate digital imaging tools such as LiDAR scanning equipment, photogrammetry capture devices, and drones.

• Oversee the quality assurance process to ensure that the scope of collected facility information and data meets the standards set by Ameresco.

• Align asset inventory with corresponding preventative maintenance tasks.

• Utilize various software applications including, but not limited to, Grafana, PowerBI, Bluebeam, Microsoft Visio, and Autodesk applications.

• Gather customized Preventative Maintenance (PM) data for clients, including asset inventory services and identification of asset locations on provided floorplans.

• Import existing client portfolio data into AssetPlanner™, ensuring accurate floorplan mapping and analysis of transferred data.

• Engage in the implementation of AssetPlanner™, including configuration, client presentations, and training sessions.

• Conduct analysis and populate data within the Maintenance, Energy, Capital Planning, and Project Planning modules of ASG’s proprietary software suite.

• Assist Project Managers in project scheduling, time estimation, monthly status reporting, and project delivery.

• Support Facility Condition Assessment activities at client facilities.

• Perform additional duties as required.


⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing systems, or Construction Management.

• Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or the ability to obtain certification within 3 months of hire.

• Proficiency with Energy Star Portfolio Manager and practices related to energy benchmarking.

• Capability to accurately identify diverse assets and systems within a facility.

• Competence in reading and interpreting construction drawings.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Experience in technical report writing, including ASHRAE Level 1 & 2 audits.

• Certificate or degree in Facility Management, Construction Management, or Engineering is advantageous.

• Preferred certifications in Facility Management such as Building Operator Certification (BOC) or certified commissioning professional (CxP).

• Familiarity with complex datasets in facility information; experience in teamwork; background in facilities management and building science.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, mobile, and tablet technology; familiarity with asset management software like AssetPlanner™.

• Quick adaptability to learn new software applications.

• Proven ability in technical data analysis along with a collaborative approach in working with end-users, clients, and other members of software development and implementation teams.

• Demonstrated experience with Grafana, Power BI, and Bluebeam software applications.

• Exceptional verbal, written, computer, technical communication, and presentation skills.

• Flexibility to adapt to shifting tasks and priorities by breaking complex tasks into manageable subtasks.

• Professional demeanor, interest in technology, building systems, and facilities; detail-oriented with an interest in finance is a plus.

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

• Willingness to travel within the U.S. and Canada up to 25% of the time.
