Budgeting Tool Implementation Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive implementation of a budgeting tool, from defining requirements to launching the system.

• Manage and facilitate the transition from Excel-based budgeting templates to a dedicated budgeting software solution.

• Create and execute a scalable budgeting process that aligns with organizational requirements.

• Collaborate closely with Finance, HR, and essential business stakeholders to collect requirements and agree on solutions.

• Configure budgeting models, assumptions, workflows, and reporting features within the chosen tool.

• Ensure data precision, consistency, and transparency throughout the entire budgeting process.

• Assist with change management efforts, including user training and the creation of documentation.

• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical or system vendors (when applicable).

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience working in an international, multi-entity organizational environment.

• Demonstrated hands-on experience leading the transition from Excel-based budgeting templates to a budgeting system or application.

• Direct experience in implementing budgeting or planning tools.

• Experience utilizing or supporting AI-driven analytics solutions within budgeting, forecasting, or financial planning processes.

• Strong comprehension of budgeting processes.

• Ability to independently manage a project with well-defined timelines and deliverables.

• Excellent analytical skills and a keen attention to detail.

• Familiarity with financial planning, forecasting, and scenario modeling.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in Finance and HR.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Experience with system implementation projects or process transformation initiatives.
