Budgeting Tool Implementation Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete implementation of a budgeting tool, from defining requirements to its launch.

• Manage and facilitate the shift from Excel-based budgeting templates to a dedicated budgeting software solution.

• Develop and implement a scalable budgeting process that aligns with organizational needs.

• Collaborate closely with Finance, HR, and essential business stakeholders to gather requirements and reach consensus on solutions.

• Configure budgeting models, assumptions, workflows, and reporting within the chosen tool.

• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and transparency of data throughout the budgeting cycle.

• Assist with change management, including user training and documentation efforts.

• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical or system vendors, if applicable.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in an international, multi-entity group environment.

• Proven hands-on experience in transitioning from Excel-based budgeting templates to a budgeting system or application.

• Direct experience in implementing budgeting or planning tools.

• Familiarity with applying or supporting AI-driven analytics solutions in budgeting, forecasting, or financial planning processes.

• Strong understanding of budgeting processes.

• Capability to independently manage a project with clearly defined timelines and deliverables.

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, and scenario modeling.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in Finance and HR.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Experience with system implementation projects or process transformation initiatives.
