Budgeting Tool Implementation Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete implementation of a budgeting tool, from defining requirements to the go-live stage.

• Manage and carry out the shift from Excel-based budgeting templates to a comprehensive budgeting software solution.

• Develop and implement a scalable budgeting process that aligns with the organization's needs.

• Collaborate closely with Finance, HR, and key business stakeholders to collect requirements and agree on solutions.

• Set up budgeting models, assumptions, workflows, and reporting within the chosen tool.

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and transparency throughout the budgeting process.

• Assist with change management initiatives, including user training and the creation of documentation.

• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical or system vendors (if necessary).

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in an international, multi-entity group environment.

• Demonstrated, hands-on experience in transitioning from Excel-based budgeting templates to a budgeting system or application.

• Direct experience in the implementation of budgeting or planning tools.

• Experience in applying or supporting AI-driven analytics solutions in budgeting, forecasting, or financial planning processes.

• Strong comprehension of budgeting processes.

• Ability to independently manage a project with well-defined timelines and deliverables.

• Excellent analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Familiarity with financial planning, forecasting, and scenario modeling.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in Finance and HR.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Experience in system implementation projects or process transformation initiatives.
